Now how do you pronounce that one… TeeZinGaa / Zinga / Tinga what? I still do not know. What I do know whoever is, that that bottle is a sure standout on the shelf. This style of packaging has at best been used as refills for kitchen supplies, but never for the main product. Or have they? What I like about the packaging is it let’s you get the to the bottom of the pack with a squeeze. Also it is fun to blow back into the pack 🙂 The cap of the pack is pretty uncomfortable to unlock, specially when it is cold / frozen (as that is how the drink is recommended to be had).

Ankit from Tzinga approached me at the start of the month. I had had this drink earlier, but he was kind enough to ‘refresh’ my memory. He sent this man to deliver the drink to my home address and as luck would have it, I forgot to inform people at home to expect someone. The fellow was shooed off by my mother and wife. Well, that speaks a lot about how safe Delhi is.

Today, my son and I thought, as it was a hot day, we needed some extra power. But frankly (and this is true of all energy drinks) there was nothing new. The lemon flavor is refreshing, but so is nimbu paani. The price is affordable at Rs 20/- but what’s new? The company (Hector Beverage) which calls itself the underdog on its website and is here to take on the mighty players who according to them “make their fortune selling sweetened, fizzy water ” has not come out with something vastly different as a product.

As a person who has been active in sports and still enjoys a challenge, this one (as well as Gatorade) is and will always be runners up to Rasna / Orange Glucose. I have Rasna while cycling these days and it is very refreshing.

Also on a different note I think they have to do better on their Facebook page and more importantly their website, which is very uncomfortable to read.

If Ankit was expecting a all is well review, this is not it. I was asked to review a product and express my opinion, so I need to be true to the need of the request.

End note – This will do well with college students.

PS – Please take those youtube videos off, they can do you more harm than good, IMHO. Stats can be confusing.
